A set of seven working files that organise the duties in Bekendtgørelse af lov om forbrugeraftaler into phases of open questions, with the statutory text carried verbatim beside each duty.

Included from the Micro level.

Every toolkit in the level is included; nothing is bought one by one.

The businesses it reaches

This instrument reaches businesses that deal with consumers in Denmark: employers, online sellers, traders offering distance contracts, and businesses handling returns and repayments. It governs the information a business must give a consumer, the evidence it must be able to produce, and the repayment duties that follow a withdrawal. The toolkit is a set of seven working files that organise these obligations into phases of open questions a business answers from its own records.

The working files walk through the burden of proof and the information duties that apply before and at the conclusion of a consumer contract. They then cover the duty to provide information during the contract period, the duty to notify, and the repayment obligations that arise when a contract is unwound. Sections are served through a connector inside Claude, and the documents that come back are dated compliance reports the business keeps in its own file.

The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective. It carries what the authority wrote, organised, so that a business can answer each open question from its own documents and keep a dated record of what it found.

Questions and answers

Which businesses does this instrument concern?

It concerns businesses that enter into consumer contracts in Denmark, including employers, online sellers, traders offering distance contracts, and businesses that handle returns and repayments. The duties attach to the business's own conduct towards the consumer, not to the consumer's.

What does the first working file cover?

It covers the burden of proof under Section 2, paragraph 2, and the information duties that apply at the conclusion of a consumer contract. The open questions ask the business to show what it told the consumer and when.

What do the files on information duties ask a business to produce?

They ask the business to identify the information it gave the consumer before and at the conclusion of the contract, and to point to the record that shows it. The statutory text is carried verbatim beside each duty, so the business can read the requirement itself.

How does the toolkit handle the duty to notify during the contract period?

One working file is devoted to the duty to notify under Section 20, paragraph 1, and the provisions that follow it. The open questions ask what the business communicated, to whom, and on what date.

What do the repayment files cover?

They cover the repayment obligations that arise when a consumer contract is unwound, including the duties under Section 23, paragraph 1, and the provisions that follow. The questions ask the business to trace each repayment from its own records.

How are the sections delivered?

Sections are served through a connector inside Claude. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed, and the business works through the open questions in the same environment.

What does a business receive at the end?

The documents that come back are dated compliance reports. The business keeps them in its own file as a record of the answers it gave and the documents it relied on.

Does the toolkit tell a business what to do?

No. The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective. It carries what the authority wrote, organised, and leaves the assessment to the business.

Can the toolkit be used by a business without legal staff?

The open questions are answered from the business's own records, so a business can work through them with the staff who hold those records. Where a question turns on the meaning of a provision, the statutory text sits beside it for reading.

How many working files are there, and do they follow the instrument's order?

There are seven working files, each covering a subject area of the instrument's obligations. They are organised by subject rather than by the instrument's own sequence, so a business can start with the phase that matches its situation.
