This toolkit organises the duties of the Lithuanian Law on Equal Opportunities into five working files of open questions, with the statutory text carried verbatim beside each duty.

Included from the Micro level.

Every toolkit in the level is included; nothing is bought one by one.

The businesses it reaches

The Law on Equal Opportunities reaches employers, education providers, sellers of goods and services, and public bodies in Lithuania. It governs how they prove equal treatment, prevent harassment, apply dismissal criteria, set consumer conditions, and adapt conditions for persons with disabilities. The toolkit is a set of five working files that organise these obligations into phases of open questions a business answers from its own records.

The working files walk through the burden of proof in equal treatment disputes, harassment prevention in education, uniform dismissal criteria, uniform consumer conditions, and the prohibition of discrimination together with the adaptation of conditions. Sections are served through a connector inside Claude, and the documents that come back are dated compliance reports the business keeps in its own file.

Each working file carries the statutory text verbatim beside each duty, so the business reads what the authority wrote next to the question it must answer. The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective; it carries what the authority wrote, organised.

Questions and answers

Which businesses does this law apply to?

It applies to employers, education providers, sellers of goods and services, and public bodies operating in Lithuania. The five working files cover the duties these organisations owe in equal treatment, harassment prevention, dismissal, consumer conditions, and the adaptation of conditions.

What does the burden of proof file cover?

It covers the duty to prove equal treatment when a complaint arises, set out in Article 4 and Article 6(2). The file turns that duty into open questions the business answers from its own records.

How does the toolkit address harassment in education?

One working file covers harassment prevention in education under Article 6(3) and Article 7(3). It asks the education provider what it has done to prevent harassment and to respond when it occurs.

What dismissal criteria does the law require?

The law requires uniform dismissal criteria, covered in Article 7(4) to Article 7(9). The working file asks the employer to show that the same criteria apply to every employee.

What are uniform consumer conditions?

They are the equal terms a seller must offer to consumers, covered in Article 8(1)(1) and Article 8(5). The working file asks the business to show that its conditions do not differ on prohibited grounds.

How does the toolkit handle the prohibition of discrimination and the adaptation of conditions?

One working file covers the prohibition of discrimination and the adaptation of conditions under Article 9(2) and Article 30(3). It asks the business what it has done to remove barriers for persons with disabilities.

How are the working files delivered?

Sections are served through a connector inside Claude. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed.

What documents does the business receive?

The documents that come back are dated compliance reports the business keeps in its own file. They record the answers the business gave from its own records.

Does the toolkit tell the business what to do?

No. The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective. It carries what the authority wrote, organised into open questions.

Where does the statutory text appear?

The statutory text is carried verbatim beside each duty, so the business reads the provision next to the question it answers. The text is not paraphrased or summarised.
