Šis puslapis valstybine kalba

A set of working files that organise the duties of the Lithuanian consumer rights protection law into open questions a business answers from its own records.

Included from the Micro level.

Every toolkit in the level is included; nothing is bought one by one.

The businesses it reaches

This instrument reaches businesses that deal with consumers in Lithuania: shops and online sellers, service providers, financial services providers, and traders that advertise, quote prices, or conclude distance and off premises contracts. It also reaches producers and importers who place goods on the market and must meet quality and safety duties. The ten working files walk through those duties as open questions a business answers from its own records, with the statutory text carried verbatim beside each duty.

The files cover how information is given to consumers, how goods and services are assessed for quality and safety, and which mandatory rules apply to consumer contracts. Further files address procedural duties, information duties in specific selling situations, and the obligations of financial services providers. Later files deal with the information a business must supply about goods and services, and with the general duty to provide information to consumers.

Each file is a numbered working file served through a connector inside Claude. The business answers the open questions from its own records, and the documents that come back are dated compliance reports the business keeps in its own file. The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective; it carries what the authority wrote, organised.

Questions and answers

Which businesses does this law apply to?

It applies to businesses that sell goods or provide services to consumers in Lithuania, including shops, online sellers, service providers, and financial services providers. It also reaches producers and importers who place goods on the market. The working files set out the duties by subject so a business can find the ones that match its activity.

What does the toolkit give me for each duty?

Each duty appears as open questions the business answers from its own records. The statutory text is carried verbatim beside each duty, so the wording sits next to the question. The answers build into a dated compliance report the business keeps in its own file.

How do I open the toolkit?

The sections are served through a connector inside Claude. The business works through the open questions there and answers them from its own records. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed.

What information must be given to consumers before a contract is concluded?

The instrument sets out the information a business must give consumers in good time before they are bound. The working files on information duties turn those requirements into open questions about what the business displays, hands over, or confirms in writing. The business answers from its own records, and the statutory wording is carried beside each question.

What do the files say about the quality and safety of goods and services?

One working file covers the duties on the quality and safety of goods and services placed on the market. It asks the business what it checks, what it records, and how it handles goods that fall short. The relevant provisions are carried beside the questions.

Which contracts are covered by mandatory consumer rules?

A working file addresses the mandatory rules that apply to consumer contracts and the terms a business may use. It asks the business to identify its standard terms and the contracts it concludes with consumers. The statutory text on those rules is carried beside each question.

What procedural steps does the law require when a consumer complains?

One working file covers the procedural duties a business must follow when a consumer raises a complaint or claim. It asks how the business receives, records, and answers such requests. The business answers from its own records, and the report records the position on the date it is produced.

What must a financial services provider do under this instrument?

The files on financial services cover the information a provider must give consumers and the way contracts and charges are explained. They ask the provider to set out its pre contractual information and its records of what was given to each consumer. The statutory wording is carried beside each duty.

What information must be supplied about goods and services after they are sold?

Later working files cover the information a business must supply about goods and services, including labelling, instructions, and the details that accompany a product. They ask the business what it provides with each item and how it keeps that information on file. The relevant provisions are carried beside the questions.

What do I receive at the end of the questions?

The documents that come back are dated compliance reports. Each report records the business's answers on the date it is produced, and the business keeps it in its own file. The toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective; it carries what the authority wrote, organised.
