This Toolkit organises the duties of the Entgeltfortzahlungsgesetz into two working files of open questions, with the statutory text carried beside each duty.
Included from the Micro level.
Every toolkit in the level is included; nothing is bought one by one.
The businesses it reaches
The Entgeltfortzahlungsgesetz governs the continued payment of remuneration to employees who are unable to work through sickness, and the duties it places fall on every employer in Germany. A business with staff on payroll meets these rules whenever an employee reports sick, whether the workforce is large or small. The Toolkit serves such employers by turning the statutory duties into open questions the business answers from its own records.
The first working file covers continued remuneration during sickness and the related notification and certification duties, including the provisions on the amount and duration of the payment. The second working file covers the remaining payment duties, among them the rules on payment in the event of death and the relationship to other claims. Each file sets out its open questions in phases, and the statutory text is carried verbatim beside each duty.
The sections are served through a connector inside Claude, so the business works through the questions in one place. The documents that come back are dated compliance reports the business keeps in its own file. The Toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective; it carries what the authority wrote, organised.

Questions and answers
Which businesses have to work through the Entgeltfortzahlungsgesetz?
Every employer in Germany that pays staff falls under it, from a small workshop to a large company. The duties arise as soon as an employee is unable to work through sickness and reports it. The Toolkit is built for such employers and their payroll and personnel work.
What does the first working file cover?
It covers continued remuneration during sickness together with the notification and certification duties that accompany it. The provisions on the amount and the duration of the payment are part of it. The file turns these duties into open questions the business answers from its own records.
What does the second working file cover?
It covers the further payment duties of the instrument, among them the rules on payment in the event of death and the relationship to other claims. These questions follow the first file in the business's own working order. The statutory wording sits beside each duty.
How are the questions arranged?
The Toolkit organises the obligations into phases of open questions, and the business answers each one from its own records. The arrangement follows the work a payroll or personnel function does, not a sequence of provisions. Each phase gathers the questions that belong to one stage of that work.
Where does the statutory wording appear?
The Toolkit carries the law's words exactly as the authority wrote them, placed beside each duty. A reader can compare the question with the provision it rests on without leaving the page. The wording is not summarised or replaced.
How does a business reach the sections?
The sections are served through a connector inside Claude. The business opens the Toolkit there and works through the questions in the same place. Nothing is downloaded and nothing is installed.
What comes back at the end of the work?
The documents that come back are dated compliance reports. The business keeps them in its own file as a record of the answers it gave and the date on which it gave them. Each report carries its date on its face.
Does the Toolkit tell a business how to decide a case?
The Toolkit never gives advice and never presents a perspective; it carries what the authority wrote, organised. The business answers the open questions from its own records and reaches its own conclusion. The Toolkit supplies the structure and the wording, and the judgement stays with the business.
Can the Toolkit be used for a single sick employee?
The questions apply whenever an employee is unable to work through sickness, so a single case can be worked through in the same way as many. The business answers from its own records for that case. The report that comes back documents the answers and its date.
Which language does the Toolkit use?
The Toolkit is offered with German and English fields, and the German fields use the terms of German payroll practice. The statutory wording is carried in the language the authority printed it in. A business chooses the field that suits the person doing the work.
